Honda is preparing to bring the refreshed CB650R and CBR650R motorcycles to the Indian market, adding to the excitement of motorcycle enthusiasts. The manufacturer had previously secured a design patent for the CBR650R in India, reinforcing its plans for a local launch. The earlier ex-showroom prices for these models were ₹9.35 lakh for the CBR650R and ₹8.67 lakh for the CB650R. With the latest updates, however, a price hike is anticipated.
Performance and Engine Details
Both motorcycles are powered by a 649 cc liquid-cooled inline four-cylinder engine, which delivers impressive performance. The engine produces approximately 95 bhp of power and 63 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox for seamless shifting.
E-Clutch Technology
Honda introduced the E-Clutch technology in the 2024 updates for both models. This advanced system allows riders to shift gears or come to a stop without using the clutch lever, enhancing convenience during city commutes or long rides.
