Kia will open online bookings for its latest SUV, the Syros, tonight at 12 AM. Interested buyers can also book the vehicle at their nearest Kia dealership starting January 3. To complete the booking process, customers need to pay a token amount of Rs 25,000.
Kia will reveal the official prices for the Syros on February 1. Deliveries are set to begin by mid-February. The new SUV is built on Kia’s reinforced K1 platform. It will come in four standard trims—HTK, HTK+, HTX, and HTX+—and two optional trims, HTK(O) and HTX+(O).
Key Features and Specifications
The Kia Syros offers advanced features and premium comfort. Notably, it includes sliding and reclining rear seats and segment-first ventilated front and rear seats. Inside, the SUV features a 30-inch dual-screen layout that combines a digital instrument cluster and a touchscreen infotainment system.
Moreover, the Syros includes a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, a rear sunshade, ambient lighting, rear AC vents, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an 8-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, and connected car features with remote window ventilation. A 360-degree camera and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) enhance safety and convenience.
Powertrain Options
Under the hood, Kia offers the Syros with two engine options. The first is a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT). The second is a 1.5-litre diesel engine mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
