Job Description
In this role, you will lead cloud-first modernization efforts with a focus on the Azure-based disaster recovery migration, while establishing standardized patterns that benefit both cloud and on-prem environments. You will design and implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform for cloud services-extending to networking constructs such as VNets, subnets, routing, DNS, and security controls-and contribute to container orchestration patterns with Kubernetes. You will shape and support CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, partnering closely with application development, platform, and networking teams to build reusable modules, guardrails, and steady-state operations. A key expectation is pairing with internal engineers to transfer knowledge, uplift cloud and DevOps capabilities, and promote consistent practices across commercial business units operating in hybrid (on-prem and Azure/AWS) environments.

Skills and Requirements
5+ years of professional experience as a Cloud Engineer
Cloud expertise with Azure (preferred) or AWS
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
Experience creating CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (ADO)
Experience with Containerization using Kubernetes
Experience with Operating systems (OS): Linux/Unix or Windows - Cloud networking fundamentals: VNet design, subnets, routing, DNS, security groups/firewalls, network IaC
Experience driving disaster recovery (DR) migrations to Azure
Recent/active Public Trust Security clearance strongly preferred (last 12 months) to accelerate onboarding.
