Position Summary

We're looking for someone with  high-level accounting experience  , ideally someone who has  directly supported a CFO  or has worked as a  Controller or even as an Assistant Controller  . The ideal candidate should have  at least five years of experience.  Additionally, if they have worked in CAS (Client Accounting Services) that would be a huge plus.

For clarity,  CAS  refers to  Client Accounting Services  —a practice area in which accountants act as an outsourced or fractional accounting department for clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

CAS professionals and controllers typically handle functions such as:

• Month-end close
• Financial statement preparation
• AP/AR management
• Payroll oversight
• Forecasting & budgeting
• Implementing financial processes and systems

  Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

This person should be comfortable managing:

• Full-cycle accounting for multiple entities.
• Communicating directly with executives.
• Operating with a high level of autonomy and judgment.
