Job Summary: Jenkins Collision Center of Ocala is seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Painter Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our Auto Painters in preparing and painting vehicles to our high standards of quality. This is a full-time, hourly position in the Auto industry, located in Ocala, Florida. Pay is based on experience. Responsibilities:

• Assist Auto Painters in all aspects of vehicle painting process, including sanding, priming, and final coating
• Prepare vehicles for painting by cleaning, masking, and taping off areas that do not require paint
• Mix and match paint colors according to specifications
• Apply paint to vehicles using various techniques, such as sprayers, brushes, and rollers
• Assure that painted vehicles are of high quality and free of imperfections
• Clean and maintain painting equipment and tools
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Communicate and work collaboratively with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
• Assist with other duties as needed by the team

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in auto painting is a plus, but not required
• Familiarity with painting tools and equipment
• Ability to mix and match paint colors
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Willingness to learn and take direction from more experienced team members
• Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
