SUMMARY -
The Mill BioChemist works alongside the Chemical and Production teams in order to oversee the management, performance, and optimization of all chemical systems to enhance safety, quality, and operational excellence, while contributing to our company's vision of sustainable innovation. This role has a primary focus on the bacterial control portion of our chemistries, but also assists across the plant with all chemistries. The candidate must be able to use their knowledge of papermaking and chemistry to solve process, equipment and quality problems. Applying your knowledge of chemical reactions and mathematical trends to troubleshoot and solve technical issues. Some mechanical / electrical knowledge or aptitude is beneficial.
