Location: Pittsburgh, PA
We are seeking an experienced MES Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery for Manufacturing Execution System (MES) initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong Scrum Master expertise combined with exposure to manufacturing, shop-floor systems, or MES platforms , enabling effective collaboration between IT and manufacturing stakeholders.
Serve as Scrum Master for MES-focused Agile teams
Facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
Remove impediments and ensure smooth sprint execution
Work closely with Product Owners, MES developers, QA, and manufacturing stakeholders
Ensure Agile best practices, team velocity, and delivery commitments are met
Support backlog grooming, user story definition, and acceptance criteria
Coordinate dependencies across IT, manufacturing, and business teams
Drive continuous improvement and Agile maturity within the team
Proven experience as a Scrum Master in Agile/Scrum environments
Strong understanding of MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) concepts
Experience working in manufacturing, industrial, or plant-floor environments
Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps , or similar tools
Solid knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban)
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
Scrum certifications such as CSM, PSM, or SAFe Scrum Master preferred
Exposure to MES platforms like Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, Apriso, or Werum PAS-X
Experience working with OT/IT integration teams
Background in manufacturing digital transformation or Industry 4.0 projects
