Shift: Evening Shift | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM | 8-hour shifts | 3 shifts per week
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join a long-term care team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, support the healthcare staff, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents.
This role offers consistent evening shifts and the opportunity to make a difference in a supportive care setting.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct nursing care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians.
Administer medications and treatments according to established guidelines.
Monitor and document patient conditions and report changes to the supervising RN or physician.
Assist residents with daily living activities while maintaining dignity and respect.
Maintain accurate medical records and follow facility protocols.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
Adhere to infection control and safety procedures.
License: Active LPN or LVN license in the state of New York (or compact state).
Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a long-term care or acute setting preferred.
Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient care skills.
Must be reliable and professional; excessive tardiness or call-offs may result in early contract termination.
Shift: Evening | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Days per Week: 3
Hours per Shift: 8
Rotation: Every other weekend and every other holiday required
