Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery
Location: Perth Amboy, NJ, 08861
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12)
Duration: 13 Weeks (with high possibility of extension)
Compensation: $1,700 – $2,000 weekly gross
Job Overview:A healthcare facility in Perth Amboy, NJ is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to support their Labor & Delivery unit. This role involves evaluating patients, implementing care plans, and supporting physicians during labor and delivery procedures. The RN will play a critical role in providing compassionate, patient-centric care to mothers and newborns.
Key Responsibilities:Evaluate patient conditions and collaborate with physicians for treatment plans
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments
Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and monitor patient progress
Manage and document nursing care based on care standards and patient needs
Advocate for evidence-based practices and continuous improvement in patient care
Support and educate patients and their families throughout labor and postpartum care
Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with healthcare regulations
Other related duties as assigned
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of recent L&D nursing experience, including couplet care
Certifications (Required prior to start):
Active New Jersey RN License
BLS (American Heart Association)
