**Job Summary and Responsibilities** Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group is growing our Gastroenterology network to provide outstanding care to the patients we serve in the beautiful town of Lufkin. Lufkin is a lively, growing, & energetic community with many amenities. We are looking for an energetic physician to join a well established practice with the potential to expand further. Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group is a partnership between St. Luke's Health System & Baylor College of Medicine. Our opportunity boasts the wide variety of benefits and supportive resources expected as part of a large health system multispecialty group while also being recognized for individual contributions. **Job Highlights:** + Potential option to invest and partner in joint venture ambulatory surgery center. + Provide expert clinical care in advanced gastroenterology, including management of complex gastrointestinal conditions, diagnostic evaluations, and therapeutic interventions. + Perform advanced endoscopic procedures including ERCP, EUS, and EMR. + Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage patient care, contributing to innovative treatment plans and ongoing clinical trials. + Participate in education and mentorship of medical residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals. + Opportunity to engage in and contribute to the development of research initiatives in gastroenterology. + Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records. + Contribute to the growth and development of the gastroenterology division within Baylor St. Luke's Health. + Flexible and willing to support organizational needs with regard to healthcare and market changes. + Established clinical expertise with a commitment to patient care outcomes. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Willingness to serve as a team member and clinical leader in the workplace. + Oriented toward customer service and patient-centered care. **Benefits:** + Competitive Salary plus wRVU production bonus + annual quality incentives + Excellent Benefits that include 22 days of vacation, 4 float days, 401k with 8% automatic employer contribution, student loan forgiveness, and many more + Employed opportunity with Baylor College of Medicine **Job Requirements** + MD/DO Degree + Completed ACGME Residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship + Active, unrestricted Texas license or the ability to obtain prior to employment + American Board Certification and BLS (active). **Where You'll Work** **About St. Luke's Health** St. Luke's Health ( serves Greater Houston, East Texas ( , and Lake Jackson ( areas using the latest technological advancements and the highest standard of care.
