Fierce Staffing Services is actively seeking to hire Event Staff for a convention at Huntington Place in Detroit, MI. This premier event brings together engineers, business leaders, and innovators across the advanced battery and electric & hybrid vehicle industries. Staff will play a key role in supporting registration, wayfinding, guest services, and exhibitor/attendee experiences throughout the conference and expo.
The conference will take place Sunday, October 5 through Thursday, October 9, 2025.

Dates: October 5 – 9, 2025
Shift Times: TBD (Open availability required until schedule is finalized)
Attire: Business professional (Black button down shirt, black pants)
Parking: Available on-site or nearby (self-pay, not reimbursed)
Positions Available
Registration Clerks – Assist with check-in, badge printing, and attendee support
Greeters & Wayfinding Staff – Welcome attendees and direct them to appropriate locations
Line Monitors – Manage attendee flow and ensure efficient registration and entry processes
Event Support Staff – Provide assistance to exhibitors, speakers, and conference organizers as needed
Supervisor and Management Roles Available: Supervisors are required to work full days and monitor staff attendance, support with client needs and communicate to Fierce Leadership. (Pay Rates will be provided at interview)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Professional, polished business presentation (business professional dress code required)
Ability to stand for extended periods (for registration, greeter, and line monitor roles)
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Previous event staffing, hospitality, or customer-facing experience preferred
Must be available for all event dates (October 5 – 9, 2025) until shift schedules are published
