Your Role as a Program Coordinator:

As a Program Coordinator, you will be the driving force behind the successful implementation of our tutoring programs within schools. You will:

  • Empower Tutors: Conduct comprehensive training sessions to equip tutors with the skills they need to excel in their roles. Your guidance will make a real difference in their performance.
  • Effective Communication: Act as a liaison between our tutors and the corporate team, ensuring their needs are heard and addressed promptly.

  • Proactive Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve potential challenges proactively, working closely with our Support Team to monitor tutor attendance.

  • Occasional Travel: Explore different school environments as you travel between district schools. We provide mileage reimbursement and support for your journeys.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Ability to commute to schools in Los Angeles, CA
  • Time management, planning, and prioritization
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple responsibilities successfully
  • Exhibits professional and approachable demeanor
  • Ability to prioritize and focus on key objectives, which may change from month to month
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in using all communication media including in person, phone, and video
  • Ability to build engagement and trust in relationships, whether with schools or with team members
  • Works Well With Others
  • Learning agility – able to adapt to changes in work environment by changing behaviors as required
  • Able to acquire new skills as required
  • Ability to engage, manage and grow virtual relationships with customers, employees, and business partners (e.g. local schools)
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 2-3 years progressive career growth
  • Experience working in a virtual operations and team environment
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish Preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google applications
