Job Description

Avir Health Group is looking for a qualified Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to join our family!

We are searching for a Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) who is resident, and family-focused, a team builder, and excited about the opportunity to assist in building a facility culture. Major Responsibilities:

  • Achieve specific patient care, employee relations, customer service, and financial objectives through strong leadership and effective management of staff, customers, and referral sources.
  • Oversee the implementation of established therapy plans of care.
  • Management of scheduled treatment days, per the Plan of Care, for patients, on a daily basis.
  • Track admissions and discharges, to ensure appropriate scheduling of evaluating therapists for timely completion of evaluations and discharge summaries.
  • Ensure Therapists complete documentation properly and completely, in a timely manner.
  • Monitor productivity of therapists, labor hours, flextime, and overtime.

Qualifications:

  • Level of knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired specific to discipline.
  • Demonstrates leadership, organization, and communication expertise.
