Job Description
A major client of Insight Global is looking for a Cloud Engineer with a deep knowledge of the AWS serverless stack. This role is a 6 month contract with intent to extend or convert to FTE. The developer will be responsible for supplying a deep knowledge of cloud best practices to support a handful of projects our client is looking to complete. These projects include enhancing existing technology to best support their clients and modernizing their existing applications to make their IT landscape healthier. The developer will be a part of the scrum process, handle Jira card refinement, completion of Jira card, and collaborate with Sr team members to deploy code to production.

Skills and Requirements
4+ years of hands-on experience developing within AWS Serverless stackNeed to be familiar with Event Bridge, SQS, SNS, Lambda, API Gateway, and CloudFormation
Experience with .NET Core and Python as the preferred language for Lambda development.
Need to be familiar with Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch for monitoring and alerting stack
Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/DynamoDB) AWS Certifications
Prior Retail experience
