Maruti Suzuki Fronx Leads the Pack!
Top 25 best-selling cars in India February 2025
Maruti Suzuki’s Fronx has emerged as the top-selling car in India for February 2025, with an impressive 21,461 units sold! The sub-4m crossover outperformed well-established models like the Swift, Baleno, and WagonR to claim the No.1 position. The combined sales of the Fronx and its Toyota counterpart, Taisor, exceeded 25,000 units last month. When adding the Baleno and its rebadged version, the Glanza, the combined volumes surpassed 45,000 units, nearly equalling Tata Motors’ total dispatches.

SUV Segment Domination Continues
The Hyundai Creta remained the best-selling mid-size SUV, significantly outpacing rivals like the Maruti Grand Vitara and Kia Seltos. Meanwhile, Tata Nexon led Tata Motors’ sales chart and secured its place in the top 10 best-selling models for the month. Tata Punch, another strong performer, maintained a high ranking despite a 21% year-on-year decline.
Toyota’s Declining Presence in the Top 25
One of the most notable observations from the February sales report is the lack of Toyota models in the Top 25. Despite expanding its portfolio to include 10 models—a mix of Suzuki rebadged cars like the Glanza, Taisor, Hyryder, and Rumion, along with Toyota’s own lineup comprising the Innova Hycross, Fortuner, Hilux, Camry, Vellfire, and Land Cruiser—the brand’s individual model volumes seem to be stabilizing.
