Hello Sir, I currently own Honda Amaze Petrol CVT. The car is 1.5 years old. Recently a car rear ended my car, the speed was very low but there is slight damage to my bumper and dicky. The bumper is bend (not broken) with some scratches and the dicky is slightly misaligned. The service centre is asking to claim insurance with an estimate of 35K and 6 days work(includes denting painting etc) My local mechanic said he will use a jack and some equipment and realign the dicky. He will open the bumper and get it back to shape. At the end the dicky will be aligned and bumper will be fine, cost will be around 2K and 1 day job My qs is: 1. Should I go to service centre and claim insurance or go with local mechanic without insurance. 2. Will this kind of work done by local mechanic void my warranty. Thanks, Sumit
